What that load did was gave us a ton of powder that burned slow enough to work the compensator at unequaled levels (at that time).

That saved me lots of time in finding the most powerful loads. I already had zillions of hours into developing the hottest 9mm loads. The 9X25 is a neat cartridge but it is just a niche cartridge, yes the performance is better than the that of the 357Sig in most instances.
