After about 5K rounds shooting steel and IDPA matches with my PC Carbine, I prefer the Ruger magazines.It looks as if you are considering the 365 .380 too. Same issue, probably far higher quality and more shooteable than the LCP's and Bodyguards. But, like the G42 it will be more of a sub-compact 9mm size. If one isn't looking for a tiny carry gun, then these larger .380's will be better shooters and better range guns.Weight wise the XD is 8 ounces (that's half a pound!) heavier than the Max 9. I can feel the difference after wearing it all day. I think the G26 weighs 3 ounces more than a Max 9 so that shouldn't be as bad, but with the Max 9 I'll even forget that it's on me.
