It's a drive from Highline Lake to get to those places (10-15 miles), but it was worth it for us. It's nice to have trees, grass, bathrooms and showers after a long day of mountain biking. The camp hosts (Barb and Dan) are absolutely delightful and if you go at a "down time," the campground is quiet and peaceful.
