Irrelevant opinion here, but I would prefer a mod expansion that could make it impossible to cure yourself (like Oblivion after Vampire Cure), unless you do so within a set number of days. That would make the Soul Cairn harder, by essentially giving you a time limit to make it out before you are stuck as a vampire forever.
