The control line has been lighter and test line very dark. This morning this was not the case. The test line was lighter than before. I took a second test and same thing.11/02/2018 at 10:14 am. Take a deep breath and google the hook effect. Once your HCG reaches a certain level, the tests struggle to read them and the lines get lighter. If you dilute your wee, in a cup or something, then test, you’ll probably see the line goes a lot darker. It’s probably just that your HCG is so high!.
